I'm sorry you got hit over your book review on Amazon - there are low-carb fanatics out there. I have not read the book, but your review sounded reasonable to me from your perspective. It sounded to me like the basic low-carb bg control process with a lot of stuff added to sell the book and maybe try to get people on the process, but a bit dogmatic about it, and not necessarily talking much about the scientific studies. You appeared largely to object to the dogmatic bits.
Lentils can be decent for bg management; I make lentil soup in the winter, eat reasonable servings, and usually put a little sliced sausage - kielbasa or polish - in as well for fat and increased protein. Have fun with lentil experiments.
